Dog Pub Social is Dunedin’s first-ever off-leash dog park and bar concept. A Pooch Pass is required for each dog to enter and can be purchased on-site as a single-day, monthly or 6 month pass. Humans always enter free and can enjoy cocktails, local brews, wine, cannabis-infused beverages, mocktails, and tasty food for both pups and their people.

The Dog Pub Social features multiple off-leash play areas designed for fun and safety. Each area includes 6-foot fencing, double-gated entries and exits, playground equipment, toys, puppy pools, and artificial turf to help keep pups clean. All play areas are monitored by DPS staff to ensure a safe and tidy environment.

At Dog Pub Social, we strive to be more than just a dog bar—we’re proud to be a part of the DOGEDIN community. We host breed-specific meetups, rescue events, fundraisers, social hours, wine tastings, fitness and yoga classes, live music, and televised sporting events.

🦴   Do I need a dog to visit Dog Pub Social?
Absolutely not! You just need to love dogs as much as we do.

🦴  Can I bring children to DPS?
Due to insurance and safety regulations, all guests must be 21 or older.

🦴  How do I know my dog will be safe?
Play areas are supervised by our trained “Ruff-erees.” However, dogs must be social and under their owner’s control at all times.

🦴  Can I bring my dog’s toys or treats?
To avoid conflict and for safety reasons, personal toys and treats are not allowed.

🦴  Are dogs required to be spayed or neutered?
Yes. All dogs over 1 year old must be spayed or neutered to enter the facility.

🦴  Are vaccinations required?
Yes. All dogs must have current vaccinations from a veterinarian, including:

• Rabies
• Distemper
• Bordetella

🦴 Are there any breed restrictions?
We welcome all social, non-aggressive breeds.
